TimeTicker Privacy Policy
TimeTicker (the “App”) is a fully offline stopwatch and countdown application. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App does and does not collect. It is written in plain language so you can verify it yourself against the App’s permissions and behaviour.
1. Information we collect
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, contacts, location, network information, or usage analytics.
2. Local data storage
The App creates timer history entries on your device when you finish a stopwatch or countdown session. These entries include only:
- the timer type (stopwatch or countdown),
- the duration in milliseconds, and
- a local timestamp.
This data is stored inside the App’s private storage directory on your device. It never leaves your device. You can delete all entries at any time from Settings → Clear history, or by uninstalling the App.
3. Permissions we request
Specifically, the App does not request:
INTERNETorACCESS_NETWORK_STATE— the App is technically incapable of contacting any server.- Location, contacts, camera, microphone, calendar, or SMS permissions.
- Any storage permission — all data stays inside the App’s private directory.
- Any advertising, tracking, or analytics identifier permission.
4. Third-party services
The App does not include any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics providers, crash reporters, or attribution services.
5. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information about them. Because the App collects no information about anyone, no additional treatment is needed for children.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
Not applicable. The App has no web components and no network access.
7. Data security
Because all data lives inside the App’s private storage on your device, the security of your timer history is governed by your device’s security. We recommend setting a screen lock and keeping your device up to date.
8. Changes to this policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, the new version will be published at the same URL and the “Last updated” date above will change. Meaningful changes will also be summarised in the App’s release notes.
9. Contact
If you have any question about this Privacy Policy, contact the developer through the “Contact developer” link on the App’s Google Play listing page.
